Finally, A Cinematic Sound Pack for Serum

Hello Friends,

Over the years, I’ve heard a lot of music from composers trying to break into sync. Some of it’s been really solid. Good writing, thoughtful builds, strong ideas. But a lot of it gets held back by the same thing: the sounds just don’t hit hard enough.

That’s been on my mind for a while.

Working on trailers, campaigns, and film, I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve had to pass on a track, not because the idea was bad, but because the sounds just weren’t built for this kind of work. And it makes sense. Most producers are working with the same libraries, the same presets, the same stuff everyone else is using. At some point, it all starts to blend together.

So we wanted to create something different.

Echelon is a cinematic sound pack for Serum, built specifically for sync. No fluff, no recycled ideas, just a focused set of patches that were designed to hold up in real sessions. These are the types of sounds I wished existed when I first started writing for picture.

Echelon wasn’t built in a vacuum. Every element was shaped by real sync briefs, tight deadlines, and the actual film, trailer, and TV placements my team and I have worked on.

Why It Exists

I’ve been reviewing composer demos for years, and the same pattern kept showing up. The tracks that stood out weren’t always more complex. They just sounded better. They had weight. They felt cinematic right out of the gate.

The truth is, good writing alone doesn’t cut it in the trailer world. Sound choice matters just as much…maybe more. If your impacts are weak or your synths feel thin, no amount of mixing is going to save it.

Echelon is about giving you that next-level foundation. It’s not a huge library full of stuff you’ll never use. It’s a tight, dialed-in collection of patches that you can actually build cues around. And since it's built for Serum, you’ve got full control to shape the sound the way you want.

Who It’s For

If you’re a composer trying to break into trailers, build stronger sync cues, or just push past the same old sounds, this was made for you.

We wanted Echelon to feel like a shortcut, not to better ideas, but to better tools. Tools that give your ideas a real shot. Whether you’re scoring a cinematic moment, laying down a trailer intro, or rebuilding a cue from scratch, this is a solid place to start.
